They started as sketches, but i colored them and i really liked how they came out. The colors on Lucky (the one-legged rabbit) and... the.. dog thing... (i can't come up with a name) got messed up when i scanned it, so that sucks.

i don't know yet if i'm gonna use them in like, a comic strip setting or a sort-of children's book thing...

I think it would be interesting if you had ur lucky with the one foot have something proppin him up or show how he gets around.

If its a kids story, you might want to watch out cuz the squirrel looks pretty sinister. and considering i just got beaten over the head with cute over load. apparently you really have to watch for this crap.
perhaps turning the one legged bunny to face us we could see that he has only one leg and that its not hidden behind him. also there was a character from a show when i was younger that was a blue plattapuse. so maybe a color change might help.
im not real sure the lil dog guy matches the style of the others.
i like him dont get me wrong. he just doesnt seem to fit in.
:iconphantomspaceman:
well.. he just hops around on one leg.. like that chihuahua that doesn't have any front feet! just floppin around on the ground... hilarity!

it's not like... a *real* kid's story... like 365 penguins or whatever... more like what you were mentioning to me about mary's drawings... like a more sinister take on children's books. for crying out loud, there's a bear with a jack-o-lantern for a head! (and yes, it's got a candle in it)

...
surely, you jest. i... well... he's ..
fuck! but i always saw him as being green-ish.. like an actual duck! 'cause it's stupid, and doesn't make any sense!

i... well, he was the first one i did, so i have to keep him in it. and i was thinking about how he doesn't fit, but.. it doesn't bother me. i actually like that he doesn't fit so well.

I just thought you should be aware of these things incase your going to try and publish it. After taking a million illustration classes include narrative we learn all the lil foilbles that will stop a person dead in their tracks. I thought i would mention them in future. You can always rework things. Its better to draw characters over and over again anyway so you really get the feel of them. And sometimes in the process you can make changes you like better. Also look up Phineas and Ferb and Labotomy Bunneh. Just incase.
:iconphantomspaceman:
wow... not only is phineas and ferb... awful... but.. it's totally different. and i really like how plattapus came out. he was actually the first one i drew. but the labotomy bunneh thing is... well, stupid. i mean... it's an iconic stuffed rabbit. the quintessential children's stuffed animal. you might as well just say it's the velveteen rabbit. not to sound like an ass, but... i mean, come on!

yah phineas and ferb is awful NOOO question. and worst off its voiced by lame ass high school the musical kids. as if that is not pop culture herpes its self.
OH NO wait...you dont like labodemy bunneh?!?
:iconphantomspaceman:
i DO like (scratch that--LOVE) lobotomy bunneh... i'm just sayin' that Penny isn't *that*, she's just the iconic stuffed bunny that i had like, twelve of when i was a kid.
